How It Works

A simple, streamlined process to ensure fair play at your event.

1. Submit Your Hackathon Details

Provide us with essential information about your event, including project submission data from platforms like Devpost.

2. Automated Analysis

Our system analyzes project descriptions, code repositories, and other metadata to identify potential instances of prior work or other violations of hackathon rules.

3. Receive an Insights Report

You'll get a clear and concise report highlighting projects that may require a second look from your judging panel. This report serves as an aid, not a final verdict.

Features

Automated Project Scanning

Leverages algorithms to check for similarities between project submissions and existing online code, past hackathons, and more.

Detailed Reporting

Provides easy-to-understand reports that flag potential issues, allowing your team to focus its efforts on manual reviews where they are needed most.

Secure and Confidential

Your hackathon's data is handled with care. We use secure authentication and do not share your event's sensitive information.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is HackVerify 100% accurate?

No. HackVerify is an assistive tool designed to automate the initial stages of cheat detection. The data and reports generated should be taken with a grain of salt. False positives and false negatives can occur. It is not a substitute for human judgment.

What do I do with the results?

The report should be used as a starting point for your own investigation. We provide insights, but the final decision to disqualify a team rests solely with the hackathon organizers.

What platforms do you support?

Currently, our primary integration is with Devpost. We are working on expanding our support for other hackathon platforms.
